Information we collect

You can browse public job listings and use search and category filters without creating a candidate account. We do not ask you to register or provide your address or telephone number to view openings.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the name you provide, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. Please provide only information needed for your enquiry; avoid sending identity documents, bank details, passwords, or other sensitive information.

Technical information may also be processed when your browser requests website pages or supporting resources, as explained below.

How we use your information

We use information relevant to our services to:

Resume and job description matching

Our Resume ↔ Job Description Match tool reads supported PDF, DOCX, or TXT files in your browser. The matching code processes the selected file and extracted text locally; it does not upload these contents to HD Careers’ servers.

The tool compares detected skills, relevant employment dates, and qualifications with the displayed job requirements. It shows component scores and an overall estimate. These results are not an employer’s ATS score, an application submission, or a hiring decision.

You can inspect and edit the extracted text in the page. The tool does not save your resume in an HD Careers candidate account. Avoid using it on shared devices where another person could view an open page. Files you separately email to us are handled as correspondence, not as local matcher input.

Log files and technical information

Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested URLs, referring pages, timestamps, and error logs when serving the website. These records support delivery, troubleshooting, and security. Some technical information can qualify as personal data under applicable law.

Pages also load resources such as styles, icons, company logos, and document-reading libraries from external providers. Requests to those providers may expose connection information such as your IP address and browser details. Loading a resume-reading library is separate from uploading your resume contents.

Website traffic analytics

HD Careers uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website usage such as page views, sessions, approximate location, traffic sources, and device categories. We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with pages through aggregated interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, heatmaps, and session recordings where supported.

These analytics services are operated by Google and Microsoft under their respective privacy terms. HD Careers does not intentionally send resume text, uploaded resume contents, or resume-match results as analytics events. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies can support preferences, authentication, measurement, or advertising. Our restricted administrator area may use authentication cookies; browsing public listings does not require a candidate login.

Cookie choices on external recruitment and social platforms are controlled through those services. Where optional technologies require consent, the applicable controls must be offered before those technologies are used.

Google advertising and advertising partners

If Google AdSense is enabled on HD Careers, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits across the internet.

Retention, service providers, and security

We retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to answer enquiries, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. Retention depends on the purpose and any legal requirements. Technical logs and analytics records are subject to the relevant provider’s retention settings and policies.
